《英語（高職高專英語專業(yè)適用）（第二版）泛讀教程》（以下簡稱《泛讀》）系普通高等職業(yè)教育“十二五”國家級規(guī)劃教材的立項(xiàng)項(xiàng)目。 《英語（第2版）泛讀教程（4 高職高專英語專業(yè)適用）》是適用高職高專英語專業(yè)的立體化系列教材之一。教材內(nèi)容以經(jīng)濟(jì)商務(wù)類的話題為主。共含14個(gè)單元，每單元由3個(gè)部分組成，其中，第1個(gè)部分為主課，第2個(gè)部分為補(bǔ)充教材，第3個(gè)部分為任務(wù)型練習(xí)。作為主課的第1篇課文含“閱讀提問”、“課文”、“注釋”、“閱讀理解”、“閱讀理解練習(xí)”、“詞匯解意練習(xí)”和“語境提示練習(xí)”等內(nèi)容。在第4、8、12單元之后附有“閱讀技巧”的介紹和練習(xí)，在第14單元后附有“模擬測試”一套，用以提高閱讀能力和檢測學(xué)習(xí)效果。
