《英語口語教程（2 教師用書 第3版）/普通高等教育“十一五”國家級規(guī)劃教材》的修訂主要涉及如下方面：1.更新了單元話題和課文編者適度地調(diào)整了一些單元話題，更新了部分文章。新話題的選擇更加貼近當代大學生的文化和社會生活，緊扣社會現(xiàn)實，兼顧中西文化，內(nèi)容涉及世界和我國當代生活、經(jīng)濟、文化、科技等熱點話題，題材豐富多樣，語言生動地道。2.修改了練習設計為使學生能夠更多地參與到口語訓練的活動中，編者在新版教材中設計了大量的練習活動，強調(diào)學生的參與，通過Role-play等形式強化學生對相關(guān)句型的掌握，提高學生高層次的語言表述能力。3.增加了論述口語技能的環(huán)節(jié)為使學生能夠系統(tǒng)地掌握口語學習的相關(guān)理論知識，編者在各單元中融入了有關(guān)口語技能的相關(guān)論述，使學生能有將理論與實踐有機地結(jié)合在一起。
