《實用商務英語函電》包含12個單元,每單元由三課組成。從總體上介紹函電寫作要求和格式入手,涉及國際外貿(mào)實務的各個主要環(huán)節(jié),環(huán)環(huán)相扣地介紹了各環(huán)節(jié)函電寫作。教材以“上海白云紡織有限公司”紡織品外貿(mào)函電示例為主線,將其在外貿(mào)過程中所涉及各方面外貿(mào)磋商展現(xiàn)給學習者,在主要學習電子郵件交流方式基礎上,同時介紹了電報、電傳為輔的函電磋商方式。每個單元首先介紹這一國際貿(mào)易環(huán)節(jié)所涉及商務內(nèi)容,使學習者理解來龍去脈,然后進入函電寫作技能學習。每一課內(nèi)容配有輔助學生自學的注釋,涉及商務內(nèi)容和英語語言用法,每單元后配有典型句子和形式多樣的練習,包括選擇題、填空題、簡答題、翻譯題和寫作題。采用任務型學習加深學生對于商務知識和英語表達的掌握。附錄部分提供了練習答案和單證示例,有助于學生自學。
作為國際商務往來中經(jīng)常使用的聯(lián)系方式,商務英語函電是開展國際貿(mào)易和有關商務活動的重要工具。正確了解商務英語信函寫作的基本知識和熟練掌握外貿(mào)業(yè)務各個環(huán)節(jié)中的信函的內(nèi)容、寫作方法和技巧是國際貿(mào)易從業(yè)人員必備的專業(yè)技能。此外,“應用型”本科院校商務英語專業(yè)的主要任務是培養(yǎng)從事國際商務及相關工作的一線專業(yè)人才和管理儲備人才。為了使學生了解商務英語信函的格式、寫作原則以及寫作技巧,幫助其提高在國際商務活動中正確、熟練地用英語進行對外聯(lián)絡和對外溝通的能力,本書編者根據(jù)多年從事“外貿(mào)英語函電”課程教學的經(jīng)驗,以及在對外貿(mào)公司、外貿(mào)從業(yè)人員的多次調(diào)研中所積累的大量素材和寫作經(jīng)驗的基礎上,編寫了此書。
本書的一大特色是按照商務活動的全流程,以針織服裝為主題商品,教學內(nèi)容主要圍繞一個案例展開,讓學習者完整體會一個案例,身臨其境地參與一樁生意。本書結(jié)構清晰,重點突出,使學生重點掌握一些常見類型信函的寫作方法,并輔之以信函填空等多樣化的練習方式補充相關信函樣例,使學生能夠運用所學句式、表達方式等完成相近或不同類型的信函,從而達到舉一反三的效果。
本書共分十四個單元,按照國際貿(mào)易進出口流程的主要環(huán)節(jié)和內(nèi)容逐一呈現(xiàn)相關知識和例函,包括建立業(yè)務關系、詢盤、報盤和還盤、下訂單、銷售/購貨確認、支付、包裝、裝運、保險、投訴和索賠等,同時詳細介紹了商務信函的特點、主要構成、基本格式和寫作原則。此外,還介紹了代理的相關知識及信函、代理協(xié)議的寫作,便于有志于從事這一行業(yè)或想自主創(chuàng)業(yè)的同學參考。最后,簡要介紹了電報、電傳的基本知識。每章內(nèi)容由以下幾個部分組成:相關商務知識介紹、相關信函的寫作提綱、例函及注釋、配套的練習及相關信函中常用例句。本書各單元商務知識介紹部分以問題輔以思考性圖片展示,降低教材的說教性,啟發(fā)學生思考并增加趣味性。各章內(nèi)容緊密聯(lián)系,相互銜接,增加了案例的完整性、真實感和生動性。每單元分三課,環(huán)環(huán)遞進,業(yè)務步驟清晰;每課都配有練習,邊學邊練,降低枯燥感。另外,本書信函大多成對出現(xiàn),呈現(xiàn)給學生一個較完整的交流過程,并且每封信函都配有背景介紹,使學生準確了解該信函的寫作背景及寫作目的。單據(jù)通常有固定格式,各公司或單位開出的單據(jù)大同小異,因此本書在附錄中添加了幾種主要單據(jù)的空白示例,教師教學時在涉及相關單據(jù)時可參考講解。本書還附有課件,練習配有參考答案,便于教師教學和學生自學。
