本書采用比較歷史分析與文本分析的手法,化繁為簡,分析社會歷史背景與電影文本改編之間的關(guān)聯(lián)。書中以五部改編自北朝民歌《木蘭詩》的《花木蘭》電影入手,著眼其各自的社會歷史背景與其由形到神的電影改編之間的互動,以此為契機揭示過往百年來不同時期社會焦點的變遷,點明歷史故事片反映并推動時代、推動傳統(tǒng)的不斷創(chuàng)新發(fā)展,揭示不同時期的改編所反映的各異時代特征,再前勾后聯(lián),電影與文化間的種種亦躍然紙上。
