本書以黨的十八大提出的“社會主義核心價值觀”為主旨,運用哲學、社會學、教育學等理論和方法,從“縱(空間)橫(時間)中外”四維角度對休閑與生活教育問題進行考察與研究,構建了國民休閑與生活教育的理論與實踐體系,包括思想價值體系、內(nèi)容體系、組織體系、政策體系、保障體系,并以經(jīng)濟發(fā)達的廣東省為例,考察了其國民休閑與生活教育的實踐經(jīng)驗。研究發(fā)現(xiàn),由于休閑與生活教育的滯后,我國社會生活中存在不同程度的亂象,主要表現(xiàn)在休閑與生活方式的異化、俗化、西化和腐化。本書建議國家重視國民休閑與生活教育,可將其上升為國家戰(zhàn)略,以遏制社會生活異化、俗化、西化和腐化進一步加深。國家教育改革發(fā)展中要有“國民休閑與生活教育體系”的內(nèi)容。本書是首部研究休閑與生活教育的專著,可供政府部門、學術界、教育界及廣大關心國民生活與教育的各界人士閱讀,書中觀點盼望引起爭鳴、探討,以便拋磚引玉,促進我國學術繁榮和社會生活健康發(fā)展,早日實現(xiàn)“中國夢”。
