《土木工程專業(yè)英語（第三版）》收集了土木工程材料、道路設(shè)計(jì)、道路施工、橋梁工程、房屋建筑工程、交通工程、工程招標(biāo)、工程合同、工程監(jiān)理以及科技文章寫作等有關(guān)英文資料，目的是讓學(xué)生通過學(xué)習(xí)，能夠盡可能多地掌握與本專業(yè)有關(guān)的英文術(shù)語，為日后在工作中查閱英文資料打下基礎(chǔ)。

《土木工程專業(yè)英語》于2005年首次出版，2012年修訂后再版�！锻聊竟こ虒I(yè)英語》作為高等學(xué)校教材，至今已使用了15年。在第三版中，編者根據(jù)教學(xué)要求，對UNIT10、UNIT11、UNIT12、UNIT13的內(nèi)容作了調(diào)整、補(bǔ)充，刪除了UNIT25，其他章節(jié)保持不變。
由于編者水平有限，書中難免存在疏漏之處，懇請讀者指出，以利于今后改進(jìn)。
