本書以系統(tǒng)功能語言學及二語習得相關(guān)理論為理據(jù),采用文本分析、問卷調(diào)查的研究方法,著重研究中國英語專業(yè)學生議論文中詞匯銜接運用特征及其習得發(fā)展規(guī)律。研究結(jié)果表明:與英語本族語使用者相比,中國英語學習者議論文寫作中五類詞匯銜接紐帶存在密度不強、配置不均衡、銜接欠緊湊的問題;問題的主要癥結(jié)在于學習者的詞匯銜接意識不強、對具體詞匯語義和語法特征的認知不清,以及對語境的分析能力尚處于不斷發(fā)展提升中;所幸由一年級至四年級,中國英語專業(yè)學生議論文中詞匯銜接紐帶運用逐步體現(xiàn)出使用密度呈線性增長、類型配置趨均衡化、銜接力度日益緊湊的發(fā)展特點。該書研究成果能為靠前詞匯銜接研究領(lǐng)域提供一個“中國視角”,揭示出英語詞匯銜接在非母語環(huán)境下的使用特征與形成過程,并同時惠及以詞匯為研究對象的二語習得、英漢雙語對比、英漢互譯等領(lǐng)域科學研究,對當前我國各大專院校英語詞匯、寫作、翻譯等教學與研究有重要指導意義。
