《新藝體類ESP綜合英語教程》分為上、中、下3冊。該書為上冊，全書共8個單元。主題圍繞藝體類專業(yè)，涉及臉譜藝術、中國戲曲、西方戲劇、中國代表性節(jié)日民俗、西方代表性節(jié)日習俗、舞美藝術、中外戲劇家和戲劇名著、足球賽事和藝術管理等。各單元由英語語音知識點、聽說、閱讀、聽力（寫作）技巧點撥和文化賞析5個板塊組成。
