計算機輔助翻譯(Computer—Assisted Translation,CAT)已經(jīng)成為翻譯實踐的主流形式,其教學也日益受到高校相關學科的重視。但是,國內(nèi)學界多聚焦CAT課程教什么的問題,對于該類課程如何教,尚缺乏系統(tǒng)的研究。本研究采用建構(gòu)主義教學觀,運用基于問題的學習模式(Problem—Based Learning,PBL)理論,設計了36課時的CAT課程教學方案,并選擇中山大學英語專業(yè)24名三年級學生進行了教學實驗,在教學設計、教學過程、教學反饋等環(huán)節(jié),利用學生日志、問卷調(diào)查、課程考試等方式,獲取了學生視角下PBL學習模式在態(tài)度、學習效果和行為轉(zhuǎn)變?nèi)齻層面上的評估結(jié)果。結(jié)果顯示,PBL學習模式對高校CAT課程教學具有較高的適用性:能有效促進學生學習態(tài)度的轉(zhuǎn)變;產(chǎn)生了較好的教學效果;根據(jù)一年后的回訪數(shù)據(jù),這種教學方法在幫助學生維持CAT技能的同時,其學習過程中獲取的主動學習的態(tài)度、溝通技巧、問題意識和解決問題的方法都在隨后一年的實踐中發(fā)揮了積極的作用。本研究對外語教學類實用研究具有一定的理論價值和實踐指導意義。
駱雪娟,中山大學外國語言學及應用語言學博士,中山大學國際翻譯學院翻譯系原系主任,現(xiàn)任國際輿情研究中心主任。2007年開始,在國際翻譯學院開設“計算機輔助翻譯”“翻譯技術(shù)與管理”和“筆譯工作坊”等課程,目前累計超過十年的翻譯技術(shù)教學經(jīng)驗。2020年,獲得“首屆全國翻譯技術(shù)教學大賽(MTI組)”一等獎。
2013年,成立CATWORK工作室,進行了多年project—based和problem—based多元教學模式的嘗試。截至目前,有多名工作室成員在近年“全國計算機輔助翻譯與技術(shù)傳播大賽”和“全國機器翻譯與譯后編輯大賽”中取得優(yōu)異的成績,也有多名學生前往北京大學、香港中文大學、蒙特雷國際研究院、倫敦帝國理工大學等相關學科深造。
