Kaikai’s Door is a fantasy story written by Jin Bo, nominee of the International Hans Christian Andersen Award.
Kaikai made his father angry for not being a well-behaved child, and as a punishment, he was locked in his room. With disappointment, he drew a door on the wall, but unexpectedly, the door led him to other places. In his magical journey through the door, he got a firefly ball, met \"Door Boy,\" and saw his father when he was still a boy. He also met Chun'er and her blind brother and experienced some scary sences. But through his journey, he also learned to be mature, grateful and understanding.

金波,兒童文學(xué)作家、詩(shī)人。60余年來(lái)創(chuàng)作了大量多體裁的兒童文學(xué)作品,包括長(zhǎng)篇童話、系列童話、小說(shuō)、散文、隨筆、評(píng)論等。作品多次榮獲國(guó)家圖書大獎(jiǎng)、專業(yè)協(xié)會(huì)獎(jiǎng)和兒童圖書獎(jiǎng),多部入選“三個(gè)一百”原創(chuàng)出版工程、國(guó)家新聞出版廣電總局向全國(guó)青少年推薦的百種優(yōu)秀圖書,以及教育部書目。多篇作品被選入各地的語(yǔ)文、音樂(lè)教材。 1992年及2020年獲國(guó)際安徒生獎(jiǎng)提名。2014年獲陳伯吹國(guó)際兒童文學(xué)獎(jiǎng)年度作家獎(jiǎng)。
Jin Bo, born in 1935, is a professor at Beijing Normal University and a member of Children’s Literature Committee of China Writers Association. He has published more than 20 poetry anthologies and fairy tale collections such as Little Leaf Fairy Tales and The Shadow Man. His works have won the Prize of the China Writers Association for Excellent Children’s Literature, the National Children’s Book Award, the Bing Xin Prize for Children’s Literature, the Soong Ching-Ling Prize for Children’s Literature, the Chen Bochui Prize for Children’s Literature and the “Five-One” Project Award. He was also recommended as a candidate for Andersen Prize in 1992 and 2020.
