在假設內隱韻律可以通過外顯韻律來獲取的基礎上，《中國英語學習者二語句子加工中內隱韻律研究（英文版）》對比研究了中國高校英語學習者的定語附著傾向性和外顯韻律結構，目的是檢測內隱韻律在二語句子加工中的潛在作用。120名被試者根據他們的英語水平和是否預覽過實驗材料被分為四組，然后通過鼠標跟蹤法進行了判斷實驗和生產實驗。
